AIT BEN HADDOU & OUARZAZATE 4x4 EXCURSION: DESERT DREAMS

OUARZAZATE

 Set out on a 4x4 excursion to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, the realization of dreams found in the desert. Travel through desert landscapes, explore historic kasbahs, and take in Morocco's rich cultural legacy.

KASBAH OF AIT BEN HADDOU

 Departure for the crossing of the High Atlas via the Tichka pass (2260m altitude).

 Arrival at the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence and headquarters of the former Pasha of Marrakech Thami Glaoui.

 Continuation by the track to Kasbah of AIT Ben Haddou, the most remarkable Ksar in the entire south, backed by the mountain and protected by UNESCO. This Kasbah has been the setting for numerous film shoots: Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, The Diamond of the Nile, Sodom, and Gomorrah. Lunch drinks included.

 Then departure to Ouarzazate, photo stop at the Taourirt Kasbah and the cinema studio.

 Return to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
